VAXXED: Robert De Niro a Hero for Successful Media Campaign to Promote Vaccine Documentary

It was never going to be easy for a documentary film which shares the confession of Senior Scientist Dr. William Thompson that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) omitted crucial data from a 2004 study on the Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR) vaccine to gain mainstream publicity.

Especially a film which illustrates that the information omitted revealed a causal relationship between the MMR vaccine and autism. It’s certainly not the first case of censorship around this issue, nor will it be the last.

Vaxxed: From Cover Up To Catastrophe interviews pharmaceutical insiders, doctors, politicians, and parents of vaccine-injured children, to reveal an alarming deception that has contributed to the skyrocketing increase of autism and potentially the most catastrophic epidemic of our lifetime. Given that this documentary is also directed by renowned gastroenterologist Dr. Andrew Wakefield, there was always—from the very outset—going to be a smear campaign and attempts at censoring this film. One would have to be deluded to think otherwise.

The August 2014 release of audio recordings of conversations between Dr. Brian Hooker and senior CDC scientist Dr. William Thompson brought immense hope that the safety of vaccines would finally hit the mainstream; crushing the myth that the CDC is America’s “trusted advisor” on health matters (note: their tagline is CDC 24/7: Saving Lives, Protecting People™). Yet this remains the most censored story of the millennium; the media blackout continues and the smear campaign against Dr Wakefield remains, despite the painfully real implications of Dr. Thompson’s testimony.

Here, Thompson speaks about the CDC corruption and cover-up:

I regret that my coauthors and I omitted statistically significant information in our 2004 article published in the journal Pediatrics. The omitted data suggested that African American males who received the MMR vaccine before age 36 months were at increased risk for autism.

Thompson has asked that Congress subpoena him and investigate the CDC fraud, after handing over more than 100,000 pages of evidence. His requests remain unanswered, and he has built a relationship with Dr. Wakefield, his wife Carmel, and those he had once harmed.

Vaxxed to be screened at Tribeca. Oops. My bad. No it’s not.

A mere few days ago the pro-vaccination community was up in arms at the announcement that Vaxxed would be screened at the Tribeca Film Festival. The “pro-transparency” community was in full support of the “courageous” decision of festival co-founder Robert De Niro to screen the film. In response to early criticism of his choice, De Niro stated

This celebration was to be short-lived. Just days later, after a barrage of further criticism in mainstream media reports from outlets such as the Washington Post and New York Times, the iconic De Niro announced an update to his statement:

My intent in screening this film was to provide an opportunity for conversation around an issue that is deeply personal to me and my family. But after reviewing it over the past few days with the Tribeca Film Festival team and others from the scientific community, we do not believe it contributes to or furthers the discussion I had hoped for.

The media is still scrambling to quell the truth shared in the film, with outlets posting a constant stream of the stereotypical cut-and-paste “Wakefield is a fraud”, “Wakefield had his medical licence revoked” style articles to divert attention from the real matter under examination.

The documentary in question, “Vaxxed: From Cover-Up to Catastrophe,” has drawn outcry from many corners including several prominent science-themed publications. Many in the scientific community feel that “Vaxxed” director Andrew Wakefield is responsible for helping to create the belief that the MMR vaccine can cause autism.

Ah, is this because these “science-themed publications” are a commercial enterprise reliant on advertising and financial incentives from the large pharmaceutical companies and government agencies that promote vaccination within their journals? As stated here, The “Index to Advertisers” for the June 16, 1999 issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), for example, lists twenty-four manufacturers of prescription or over-the-counter drugs. Moreover, this Australian article notes that there is evidence of widespread conflicts of interest within medical industry.

A systematic review found that 23–28% of academic investigators receive industry funding, and industry-funded studies are likely to produce pro-industry conclusions.

An Australian study of 1500 clinicians found that while only 6% had been paid by industry, 23% had served on an industry advisory panel, 52% had accepted travel sponsorship and 96% had accepted gifts.

A review of 29 meta-analyses of 509 drug trials found that the authors’ financial interests were only disclosed in 26% of the trials. None of the meta-analyses reported on the financial links between authors and industry in the trials they analysed.

For the record, this documentary is not even about Dr Andrew Wakefield! (Yes, he’s a doctor. No, he’s not a fraud. If you haven’t yet figured that out, it’s time to pull the wool from over your eyes.) Ironically, the Washington Post went as far as list the CDC as one of the trusted organisations to have “have discredited the notion that a link exists between vaccines and developing autism spectrum disorder.” Despite all the media tactics and diversion, the fact remains: the CDC fraudulently omitted data from a research study to eliminate a causal link between the MMR and autism. Del Bigtree, Producer of Vaxxed (and Emmy award-winning medical journalist) was long-term Producer of The Doctors. He says the [Doctors] team “typically viewed people with the CDC as their friends as they often provided us with story ideas, letting us know what topics were becoming newsworthy.” Dr. William Thompson’s revelations came as a devastating shock to him. “The show was consistently getting requests from parents asking that we investigate the autism/vaccine link, but it was clear that until something changed in the overall discussion, we wouldn’t be taking it on.”

Bigtree was told multiple times that he was making a career-ending move by aligning himself with Dr. Andrew Wakefield from other doctors too afraid to speak out themselves. “One other thing I find disturbing is the number of doctors I’m hearing from who tell me that they know that vaccines are linked to autism but that coming forward with the truth will destroy their careers.  They literally say, ‘I don’t want to get Wakefielded.‘” After viewing Thompson’s data and researching the truth about Dr. Wakefield, Bigtree realised this would be the most important story he’d ever shared, and got involved with the Vaxxed documentary.

If I decided to look the other way and not tell this story, and my kids or grandkids got sick, I’m not sure how I could live with myself…[W]e have a senior level CDC scientist telling us, “We lied,” about the safety of the MMR. The moment I looked at Dr. Thompson’s data, I knew I had to tell this story. If you see a wave of events like this and do nothing, that’s criminal.

Why did Robert De Niro approve and then remove Vaxxed from the Tribeca Film Festival?

Today the tables have turned: those who were celebrating just days ago are mourning and angry, and all concerned are seeking to blame (or congratulate) others for the outcome. But we believe there is more to the story. What if this was all a very carefully and cleverly planned stunt with the best outcome the pro-choice  (or anti-vaccination) community could possibly have hoped for?

In our view, it is extremely unlikely that Robert De Niro is a stupid man. There are many pieces of information that have come to light since Vaxxed was pulled from the festival to illustrate another viewpoint. Bear with us here and ask yourself these questions…

What if De Niro knew all along the film would NEVER be screened because sponsors of the festival would always have the final say? He is, after all, co-founder of Tribeca Film Festival, and thus privy to whom has financial ties to it. We all know money talks. Some noteworthy contributors and sponsors (of both the festival and Tribeca Film Institute) to date include:

• The Sloan Foundation, headed by globalist Paul Joskow, member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). For a brief rundown on why this is important, please watch this short video.
• The Rockefeller Foundation, which needs no further explanation, unless you’re all new to this; in which case you could start with The Rockefeller File by Gary Allen, and move on to read Rockefeller Medicine Men: Medicine and Capitalism in America, or Rockefeller “Internationalist”: The Man Who Misrules The World By Emanuel M. Josephson.
• The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, which has supported projects such as documentary films, “Ending AIDS: The Search for a Vaccine”, “Polio – The Last Word”, and given grants towards the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative. In 2013, Paul Klingenstein joined MacArthur’s Board of Directors. He is the former Chairman of the Board of the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative, a global organization that supports discovery science, clinical testing, advocacy, and policy in support of an HIV vaccine.
• The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, spearheaded by none other than Bill Gates; a man whose unending support for, and investment in companies whose actions are causing immeasurable harm to our planet illustrate he certainly does not have our best interests at heart. Gates cloaks these questionable investments, immeasurable support for vaccination programs, and depopulation agenda under the guise of “saving children”—but it certainly does not fool us. To us, it appears implausible that Robert De Niro would ever believe this film would go to air at Tribeca. It is ridiculous to think that a film festival heavily financed by numerous foundations with ties to the pharmaceutical industry, vaccination, and eugenics, would ever consider showing a film with such massive ramifications for their interests. We were silly to ever believe it would have.

Consider the following.

What if Robert De Niro knew his “outrageous” and “heartbreaking” statement that VAXXED would be aired at the festival would be shared widely by outraged media outlets, and this was always part of the plan?

What if Robert De Niro used this as an opportunity to gain mainstream coverage of an important film that would otherwise be censored by an ongoing media blackout?

What if Robert De Niro knew all along the film would be removed from the festival’s schedule after announcing it would be screened?

What if this was a deliberate move to draw attention to the depth of corruption and censorship in America, the “free country”? 

What if, instead of blaming Robert De Niro for having “no balls”, we should be congratulating him for bringing “VAXXED” front and centre into the media?

What if Robert De Niro used this opportunity to reach out to the community to let them know his family is affected by autism?

Perhaps congratulations and forgiveness are in order for all the pieces of this very important puzzle: Robert De Niro, Andy Wakefield, Del Bigtree, Tribeca Film Festival, and now, of course, ABC News; whose “news” (we use that term loosely) segment regarding the “Vaccine Firestorm” could not have outlined more eloquently the scope of the cover-up. Tribeca disappointment aside, we have Robert De Niro to thank for turning VAXXED into a major media soundbite and turning it into a conversation piece for  millions of people. What if he knew all along that TRIBECA’s sponsors would never willingly allow VAXXED to instigate the “conversation” that De Niro wished to take place around the autism-vaccine link? And yet, now – possibly because of calculated shrewdness on De Niro’s part – the name of this very important documentary, Vaxxed: From Cover Up To Catastrophe, has been beamed into the lounge rooms of not just Americans, but those all around the world—multiple times! The old adage, “There is no such thing as bad publicity” rings true, and it is likely that Robert De Niro is but one person in a team of amazing people who deserve our immense gratitude for enabling this to happen.

Despite the media’s desperate attempts to continually return our focus to blatant untruths about Dr. Andrew Wakefield, one of the world’s greatest scientific minds of our time, the world is now ready to hear the truth. And Dr. William Thompson’s shocking confession all but scratches the surface.

The volcano is still bubbling. And it’s about to erupt.
